The Rural Communities Trust (RCT) was formed in 1982 to provide help for people in rural communities whose needs are impacted by rural isolation.

The Rural Communities Trust is committed to building an ongoing partnership between commercial organisations that service the rural sector, to provide for:

Each year the Trust approves grants for individuals where their location impacts on their ability to access health and welfare services and activities such as sports, travel, accomodation or education.
